Reverend Richard Coles visits Abingdon Mostly Books for signing

Former Church of England parish priest, broadcaster and best-selling author Reverend Richard Coles visited an independent bookshop in Abingdon to celebrate his new murder mystery book.

Reverend Coles visited Mostly Books, an independent bookshop in Abingdon, on Saturday to sign copies of his new book Murder Before Evensong.

Shop staff, including owner Sarah Dennis and Alfie the shop dog, witnessed the signing and only a few signed copies remain.

A spokesperson for Mostly Books said: ‘We were delighted to be featured on his whirlwind tour of select bookshops in Oxfordshire.

“Richard was extremely friendly, and the team had a great time meeting him and learning more about his book and his beloved dogs, as he was very impressed with our bookstore dog, Alfie, the Lakeland Terrier. ”
